It seems these matte black Lamborghinis’ are driven by amateurs these days. First London, now this…all within weeks of one another.
Kanye has a matte black Aventador as well…maybe he’s next…
One man was killed and two others were injured in a crash that shut down the MacArthur Causeway in Miami Beach for several hours Thursday.
Miami Beach police said a Lamborghini Aventador was traveling more than 100 mph shortly before 3 a.m. when it crashed into the back of a sport utility vehicle that was stopped at a red light in the westbound lanes of the bridge that connects Miami Beach to Miami.
Sgt. Bobby Hernandez said the fact that the car came to a rest dozens of feet away was “indicative of a very high rate of speed.”
Both the driver of the Lamborghini and the Chevrolet Suburban were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital. The passenger in the Lamborghini died at the scene.
“The person that passed away is the brother-in-law of the driver of the Lamborghini,” Hernandez said.
An attorney for Raul Alfonso, the driver of the SUV, said his client was on his way home from work at the time of the crash. Alfonso suffered several broken bones and is wearing a neck brace.
Police said the driver of the Lamborghini is at fault for the crash. Hernandez said he will likely face a charge of reckless driving and could face more charges pending the results of drug and alcohol tests taken at the hospital.
